Recently I am not very happy or satisfied with globe telecom, my name is benny yap, globe platinum plan.
My phone number is [protected], I have make a request to change my freebies from roamimg inclusive to
Unlimited surfing on dec 13, 2010 and the staff who took my call told me it will be ready by dec 14, 2010.
After one week I just followup with globe again regarding this changes but I found out it was still not change yet.
The globe staff again told me they will make the changes asap and gave me a ref#slp10120001694 to follow up
Again. So I follow up again after 10 days and found out that it was still not change yet.
I really do not know how long do globe need to just make a change like this one and everytime when we call they give
Excuses or tell you they do the changes asap. I believe if I am under the category as platinum plan we should have
Some priority on our request.
I really do not know if it was already change now but I have inform the globe staff that all charges for the surfing effective
From dec 14, 2010 I will not make any payment for it because it was not my fault, it is their fault who fail the promises.

I am a foreigner with ample income and I have provided all requested documents for a phone plan and in a week this company has messed me around continually - no return calls as promised, lost documents, disinterested in my application, rude and generally telling me that they have the customers they need and they don't need me. SMART should be pleased - the best advertising they have going is Globe themselves - incompetent, poorly trained staff anf zero customer service! GO ELSEWHERE!

Exactly the same problem:
I have requested for a personal plan 1799 and an iPhone 4S on Wednesday 4th of January. I have been given a reference and told that it will take 5 days to proceed (3 days for validation, 2 days for delivery). They also confirmed that you had the phone in stock then.
My first follow-up was Friday, Jan 6 and a new reference ID was then given. After 13 days and despite numerous calls during which nobody was able to tell me when it will be delivered, I have received a text, saying that the application was now validated and that the phone was going to be delivered in 1 to 2 weeks!
I've sent then an email and received the standard message "We will get back to you within 24 hours." and guess what? It's been more than 24 hours ago...
This delays are outrageous. For an IT company, their process seem to be out of age and totally inefficient.
In any other country, if you don't get your plan and phone in the hour, you go straight to the competitor...
That's what I will be doing now, switching also my 500 company lines to Smart.
I have been a Globe subscriber for many years also and had the same problem you do; i.e. Intermittent Service. I had the same experience you are having; robots answering the phone, promises, and no results. I gave up and just decided I must live with it. I went to the US in 2010 for a month and when I came back miraculously the problem did not exist any more. I don't know what they did or who did it but my service has been very good since then. This is just so you don't lose hope. John

I have tallked to a customer service named MS> AMIRA BARCO between 1:40 to 2 pm regarding my problem and she said my phone is still active. For this month of MArch I havent been informed thru text about my balance. My birthday is March 31. It was unfortunate for me I havent received any text or call during my birthday. My friends told me they greeted me. What will be my action regarding this matter? Birthday is very important occasion for me. How can I be consoled in this matter? Thank you very much

Globe Telecom sells a variety of internet packages. Several of these packages are advertised as being 'Unlimited'. The adverts lead customers to believe that they will recieve unlimited internet access (data transfer) for set periods of time, in return for their payment.
However, Globe has a (very hidden) policy which actually sets strict limits on the data usage allowed to customers. This policy is the 'Fair Use Policy'. It unilaterally sets an 'average' data consumption limit for customers. If customers exceed this limit, then they are deemed to be "abusing" their contract and their package is suspended.
One example is the Globe Tattoo Broadband, on pre-pay. This is advertised as being "unlimited" broadband access. The customer pays based on the amount of time that they remain connected and using the broadband internet.
However, the Fair Use Policy actually limits pre-pay Tattoo customers to a maximum of 1 Gb (gigabyte) of date use per day. This is not made clear to customers at any time when they purchase their Tattoo usb stick or buy load/credit to use that service.
When a customer exceeds that 1GB limit, then their SIM card is blocked from internet access for 24 hours. Again, they are not warned that this can or will happen in advance.
To put this data limit (1GB) into perspective... the advertised maximum speed of Globe Tattoo Broadband is 3Mb per second. This means that, at full speed, the user will exhaust their data usage (1Gb = 1024 Mb) within 6 minutes!
How can it be legal the Globe advertises and charges for "UNLIMITED" internet, when in fact, the maximum daily useage at advertised speed is a pathetic 6 minutes per 24 hours?

Too many experiences to tell about this company's customer service.
Before you get any wrong ideas, no, I am not an employee of a rival company. I am just an ordinary consumer, hoping to receive the services I demand for.
1) Rude customer service person at the Ayala Triangle branch.
This was a long time ago when I requested to have my mobile phone line on International Roaming. Let's just say she was having a bad day. Too bad for her, my day was worse than hers. So I quickly made a phone call to their hotline, name-dropped a bit, and lo and behold, they put me on perpetual roaming AFTER my complaint.
2) After making three (3) attempts at applying for an internet connection through their hotline, I still have no word as to when they will install it.
I've given up. So tomorrow, I'll just call up the rival company, PLDT. Hopefully, these guys offer better services (fingers crossed).
3) There is absolutely no provision in their billing statement for a change in address.
Come on, Globe. You are an Ayala company --- you can do better than that! Show some brains, please.
I am getting regular surveys... from Globe using a Globe logos. https://laravel.com/docs/6.x are the company doing this. They are offering chances to win prizes. Do you know this is happening does Globe agree with what is bing done in their name?
Globe mobile internet connection is poor to none. Cant even book Uber properly in the daytime. I have to wait for wee hours in the morning before I can properly stream a video. a 2 hour film becomes a 5 hour film if you're using globe internet. Hopefully the government allows new players to come into the picture. Both Smart and Globe mobile have poor connection but Globe is worst.

gusto ko lang i-share yung bad experience ko na nangyari noong May 13, 2017. Regarding sa unit celphone ko na nasira so under warranty pa siya for repair kasi wala pang one year nasira na yung celphone unit under my globe plan. Ang nangyari kasi nireport ko sa globe store kung saan ko in-apply yung globe plan ko don located sa Robinson's Lucky Gold Plaza. Tapos ang sabi saken ng globe personnel ng globe sa store na yon bibigyan nila ako ng certificate of under warranty tapos ibigay ko or puntahan ko yung service center nila sa Sta. Lucia Mall sa CITY LIGHT kasi don daw yung pagawaan ng mga nasirang unit ng globe pag under warranty pa ang unit. So nagpunta ako sa nasabing service center ng globe sa Sta. Lucia Mall sa Marikina, ang masama nangyari na ikinasira ng araw ko ay pagadating ko don ang tagal ko nag antay sa technician kasi 1 pm pa daw ng hapon ang dating niya. So bumalik ako ng 1 pm nandon na yung technician ibinigay ko yung supporting Docs. o certifcate ng under warranty for repair at yung celphone unit. tapos pinag antay ako ng mahigit dalawang oras. tapos lumabas yung technician ibinalik yung unit at hindi rin naayos kasi irere-program daw yung unit. tapos dun ko nalang daw dalhin sa main office nila sa green hills sa City Light daw. tinanong ko kung bakit? ang sabi saken ng technician billing lang daw sila. sabi ko " eh bakit dito ako pinadala ng globe store niyo kung billing lang yung pina process niyo isa pa nag effort pa ako magpunta dito na napaka layo sa lugar ko isa pa kako nag leave pa ko sa work ko para lang dito. kung alam ko lang na ganito mangyayari saken sana ipinaayos ko nalang sa iba kahit na nagbayad nalang ako" yung technician ang sama pa ng ugali wala daw siya magagawa kasi di niya kayang gawin kaya don nalang ako magpunta sa green hills. and the he talk napaka angas niya. kinakausap ko pa siya tinalikuran na ako. so ang ginawa ko ini-report ko sa Globe customer service regarding sa nangyari. so ipinaki usap ko na kausapin nila yung technician na yon so nag usap sila at nalaman ng GT Customer service na napaka rude ng ng Technician Ng Globe. So ang saken lang para hindi na maulit yung ganong incident sana mabigyan ng prompt action yung mga emplayadong hindi maganda serbisyo at pakikitungo nila sa mga customer nila. O kaya tanggalin nalang kasi nakaka sira siya ng image sa isan Company.
It is just so frustrating since I had to convince my wife to move with GLOBE, only ofr us to find ut, they just don't have the WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE, BUT OVERALL WORST SERVICE AS WELL! Even after full payment they deactivated my line services then had my wife CS, call got disconnected, my wife had to call them back then another WORST THING is the previous Rep she spoke with, made a note that it was a drop call and that she tried to call my number multiple times but THERE WAS NOT EVEN A CALL INITIATED THAT IS WHY MY WIFE HAD TO CALL AGAIN. Then on FB messenger, they asked me to pay may unbilled charges, when I did get a notification I DID NOT HAVE ANY. We just went to sleep and then there goes the UNBILLED CHARGES AND THEY ARE ASKING ME TO PAY?! I have all the screenshots and when I went back at them telling this, I was then advise that the UNBILLED CHARGES ARE NOT FINAL, THAT CHARGES CAN ONLY BE VALIDATED ONCE FINAL BILL IS IN, WHICH IS NEXT MONTH. BUT HEY THAT WAS NOT THE ADVICE I GOT PREVIOUSLY, THEY ONLY CHANGED THEIR TONE WHEN I SAID I HAVE ALL THE DOCUMENTS AND THEY ARE CLEARLY LIABLE, THE TONE THEN CHANGED. IF THERE IS WORD MORE THAN "WORST", THAT'S THE BEST WORD TO DESCRIBE THEM!
Globe company are good only for sending bills and recieving payments.. But when it comes to the internet services.. They are faster than the snail. When you complain they will tell that there its nothing they can do. Because they only recieve payments.. They point to the contractor that you cannot contact.. Bull#### services.. And they will not allow you to disconnect your internet cause your lock on the 2 years contract..
Globe is a disclaimer and misrepresent their offer about the products and services they can provide. Kind of very disappointed!
I registered for 1599 Unlimited Landline and Internet. Just found out that I have a daily cap of 1GB per day. As indicated in the plan, I have UNLIMITED internet. Globe does not want to give back the plan that I should have. They told me that since the beginning, I have the 10gb cap. And now I am also paying for the unlimited calls for Globe/TM mobile calls

My name is Teresita Santos, I'm a plan 499 subscriber, I would like to complain about my billing, I visited Globe Sm North Edsa but then there's a lot of complainants and your customer service cannot accommodate more, so what to do where to call and how, I'm also a working mom so really its very hard to find time. There's a globe agent kept on calling me at home but i was not around and he is asking me to pay a big amount of money when I checked its not my account, I only subscribed 499 plan and he is insisting that my plan is 2, 499. What is this? How inconsistent your company is?
Me too I keep stopping the service but I still can receive promotional SMS. I also get very bad signal in the area. I live in Tondo MANILA.

Please stop it. Today, I text to my country twice, the text was empty, why this happened? I experienced that my load was easily finished, please consider this complain for improvement.
