Disappointing Experience with Billionstarsexpress
After reading several reviews and considering the experiences shared by other customers, I must say my journey with Billionstarsexpress was highly disappointing. The bus was delayed, the staff were unhelpful, and the overall service was below par. From the lack of information to uncomfortable conditions during the ride, it was not the experience I had hoped for. I would advise potential customers to be cautious when choosing this service.
Dangerous and unprofessional
Avoid at all cost. After starting 30 minutes late from Penang , ( that can happen and wouldn’t judge on 30 minutes delay, the driver stopped for half and hour almost an hour in the middle of nowhere to wait fur a “passenger”. The passenger was not a passenger but either a friend or a member of the staff …we were slready 1:30 minutes late . he sat in front of the bus talking with the driver. Then the driver went full speed ( no respect at all with distance for breaking …) constantly obey the speed limit, the bus was equipped with one of these alarm … and it kept beeping … this is all very concerning already when I heard music seating behind the driver on the first row. I took a look at him and he was littarelly watching videos on YouTube or whatever while driving … this company should not even be allowed to drive buses , stay alive and avoid it : bus KDW2311 Penang KL on the 17 April 2024 what a shame ….. departure 10:00 am when the real time was more 11:30 from after the Penang bridge

I've booked a ticket to go to Sg. Nibong from Hentian Duta.
I rushed from Puncak Alam and reached Hentian Duta at 6.45pm.
Then, I went to counter No. 14 to check in and the receptionist told the bus will be late about 30 mins to 45mins.
I said okay and waited at the platform for the bus.
Now it's 8.45pm and the bus still haven't arrived yet.
I went to the counter again to approach the receptionist, she said 'the bus is still at TBS and the driver yet to move from there's and she suggested me to take BAS PERSIARAN.
I was like, WTH, I paid for express bus service to reach as fast as can to Penang because I need to go to work at 7.45am.

Unprofessional driver and delayed plans
Took bus from Lavender mrt to KL scentral. 2pm bus was postponed to 3pm. Eventually bus move at 4pm. Didn't inform us the delay which is definitely unprofessional. My ticket was direct to KL Sentral but the bus stopped at Melaka without prior notice and stopped at TBS. This has affected our plans in KL. When consulted the driver about the sudden changes of the stop, he was rude and told us to shut up. He also waited at the stop for more than an hour just to send a passenger to Penang. We demand an explanation for this issue.
The bus driver was unprofessional and was rude. The overall experience sucks and we demand refund for this.

Bus arrival delayed
The bus arrived an hour late and took three breaks of 30 to 45 minutes each time, resulting in a longer arrival time at the destination. From 7.45p.m (Sunday) to 1.40a.m (Monday).
The bus ticket I bought was from tbs to woodland checkpoint. The driver dropped the passengers at the Johor checkpoint and left without any notice.
We need to spend another RM3 to take the factory bus to the woodland checkpoint.

Service really really disappointed me...
We have bought the ticket to depart from tbs at 1pm, but until now already 1:43pm still at tbs..In addition, we are not in the bus we booked. We are in another bus etika under same company. Some more, we got the seat is slot in seat.

Timing
Billion Stars Express , 15 December 2023, 4.30pm bus from Penang-KL..I'm still at Penang Sentral at 7.15pm. Just reached KL Sentral at 1am. Bus driver go missing without any regards of hungry passengers with plans to reach KL within reasonable time. Are you paying for our delayed journey? Pay our food or medicine if we all get gastric? Pay for our Grab instead of lrt because we don't even know we can get the last train now? Lucky my kids didn't travel with me this time. I'll never travel with this company ever again. The most irresponsible and unethical bus company. Dah lah kerusi rosak pulak tu. Deleted off my comment and no apology. Customer Service goes into the drain.

I took same bus and not satisfied with the driver.
Bought the ticket on 4.30pm but bus arrived on 5.30pm. I noticed the bus wasn't came from other place, It was actually parked behind Sungai Nibong Terminal and only depart on 5.30pm.
Stopped at Penang Sentral about half an hours. Halfway stop at R&R another half an hours. After exit Plaza Toll Jalan Duta stop again at Shell Petrol Station. Reached Hentian Duta about 12.30am. Total travel time from Sungai Nibong to Hentian Duta, 8hrs. Seriously?

My brother took the bus on sunday 3 december 2023 time 23:35pm at bus terminal penang sentral. The bus driver quarrel with my brother for seat.. My brother already booked that seat but that bus driver said go sit other seats because that bangladesh men want seat here... How the bus driver can said like that... Because my brother already booked that seat by online... After that the bus driver keep saying some get up from here then blackmail my brother using some rude words... My bus was scheduled to be 09.30am and was delayed FOR MORE THAN AN HOUR. Seats were not clean as well and it smelled like cigarettes.
When the bus had arrived I checked with the driver whether is the correct bus and he refused to answer told me to check with others.
Terrible service.

The bus trip is on 13/112023 from Tun Aminah to TBS and the bus is STAR BILLION BUS . The driver is being so rude . My seat is suddenly same with other passengers and the driver is do nothing . I ask him properly “hi my seat is same with other passengers so how to solve this ya” and the driver suddenly say “hi..hi.. you don’t know how to give SALAM” ? I’m totally don’t know he is islam cause his face is like INDIAN . He just do nothing about this . he just ask me to just seat anywhere ! The irresponsible driver smoked cigarette two times on the trip from Awana Bus Terminal Genting Highlands, departing on 7.40pm to TBS station, arrived on 9.05pm, happening on 1st Nov 2023.
The smell was so irritating that all passengers have to cover up their nose with the cloths, and there were kids on the bus.

Hygiene of the bus

The journey from Penang to KL took me 8 hrs. But it understood, as the traffic was damn bad that day. The issue that came to my attention is the HYGIENE! I got bitten by bed bugs while I’m on the bus. It was so painful and itchy. It’s been there for 3 days, and the symptoms have gotten worse and worse. I thought it would be cheaper for me to ride a bus back to my hometown, but unfortunately, it cost me more as I had to pay for the medications on top of the discomfort. It would be much appreciated if I could get a reply from you.

Bus operator simply chenge my seat without obtaining my opinion
The bus operator change my prebooked seat 2A without obtaining my agreement. He claimed all Billion Star buses are free seating. The behavior of the bus operator is very irresponsible completely unacceptable.

Service & tickets checker damn baldy rude
