Awesome game! I have just a few suggestions/improvements you can consider...

One is ammo, ammunition is low in this game. When you start the game you get 18 rounds, good but it's not enough. I personally and maybe others wouldn't carry one mag of ammo (that's inside the gun!). Also the whole re-supply thing is weird because the only reason I would use it is in an emergency (like you did everything you could but just need more ammo for that last surging kill or the dinosaur just about died, but like 1 to 2 more rounds to kill it).

Second is the observer mode when I tried to take a pic, it crashed. However, I don't remember when you put that new update, but I got the game last night and an update showed to be installed so this probes may have been fixed already.

Third and final is the display for movement and shooting...it's confusing. Here is how I see it... I respect the way you guys organize the first person display layout, but it drives me insane when I'm on the hunt for a dinosaur and I have to stand there and shoot, but then find out I need to move get the shot but can't move and shoot at the same time. I know this might be weird, insulting, and stupid to you, but my suggestion is to look at some good first person shooting games as references. A game that I play and would be a great reference is "Brothers in Arms 3".

I appreciate what you guys are doing. Keep up the good work! Don't give up on updates! Thank you especially for taking your time and convenience to read all of this plus the other reviews you have and are receiving!

First I must say that even though I grew up playing this game, (usually on observation mode b/c the hunting parts used to scared me!) I absolutely LOVE the new dinosaurs! They seem more realistic than the originals, and look AMAZING! That said, I still have a few suggestions, but nothing that would be truly gamechanging.

1.Should have some form of sprint, (dinos would still probably catch you, but it'd be nice to have some options).

2. New equipment would be pretty sweet, like maybe an optional armor that absorbs the first attack of a carnivore giving you an extra few seconds to line up a shot. Another idea is bait, or maybe a distraction of some sort.

3. Diversity in background reptiles/dinos, preferably different species in different maps, as well as new models. Some might provide a payout if you get enough of them.

4. Some aquatic life. Huntable or not. Faster swimming speed would be welcomed too.

5. USABLE human, (or even alien) constructs, like ladders or bridges.

6. Better AI, or at least actual behaviors, (carnivores hunting and fighting prey and sometimes each other, herbivores avoiding carnivores, etc) nothing too big of course.

7. Because you managed to add new dinosaurs, perhaps a new map? It sure would be cool!

8. And last, maybe new looks for the old maps and dinos? I've been looking at these guys for years, and though I appreciate their dated look, an added touch of realism to their movement would go a long way.

I wpuld also like to say that you should NOT add vehicles. This is a hunting game, not Halo.

I've played this game for years now. I would play it all the time on my iPod Touch and later on my iPhone 4. Using my iPhone 5 now, I've noticed some problems:
1) The map accuracy. I can't relocate to a specific place because it always puts me way off. Another map-related problem is that my map gets inverted. I'll be looking east, but my map shows that I'm looking west. Please try to fix this issue.
2) The updated relocate and resupply buttons. They're now a nuisance. They're very much so in the way. At least add an option to use old controls.
3) The relocation screen. Get rid of the screen fading to white when the player relocates. It's not beneficial and causes my game to lag.

Suggestions: I have a few suggestions I've thought up and picked up from the other players:
1) Add aquatic dinosaurs/sea creatures. They could spice up the danger factor.
2) Add more nonsport animals. Even dangerous ones like snakes perhaps.
3) Let the animals interact with each other such as making packs or herds with their species- as with the Celophysis. Also eating each other or having carnivorous dinosaurs picking up on blood trails as well would be fun.
4) As the player goes on, the elapsing of time would be nice.
5) Add multiplayer- local multiplayer, even, would be great.
6) Add more human made bases/artifacts. Create a hidden story to it.
7) Add weather effects like rain, storms, heat, clouds. That kind of thing
8) Make the dinosaurs differ in color between species. Makes and females differ in color, or just a rarer coloration.
9) NPCs. Some humans in a boat or some inhabitants of a small base would be cool to see.

For people who are skeptic about buying this app, let me tell you what it is about. The main mode of this app is HUNT where you are a lone Dino hunter tracking and bringing down a variety of dinosaurs. You are allowed to chose from

6 different weapons (pistol, rifle, pump shotgun, DB shotgun, crossbow, and sniper rifle)
6 maps with different terrains
10 dinosaurs (five carnivores, five herbivores) You can choose which dinosaurs you would like to hunt in a session
*To pick your selections of each, you must use points, obtained from previously hunting dinos, to pick them. The more advance weapons, dinos, and maps cost more points. Points are not perminatly spent, they are given back at the end of the hunt.

There is another mode, SURVIVAL, where you are immobile, equipped with a shotgun, protecting yourself from waves on carnivorous and charging dinos. Each wave, more and better dinos appear.

Here is suggestions for future updates..

1. More dinos (including water, and sky dinos)
2. More weapons
3. A melee weapon for when you run out of ammo
4. Or instead of ^, you can start with more ammo for a wepon if you spend more points in the beggining
5. Warnings when a dinosaur has heard/smelt/dectected/seen you
6. Warnings when a carnivor is charging at you
7. Ability to sprint
8. Slightly larger target on the T-Rex
9. Online/Bluetooth multiplayer
10. Traps that you could set up
11. Bait to leave for dinos
12. Vehicles
13. Ability to hip-fire (add crosshairs)
14. Tactical equipment (grapple, flare gun, firecracker, etc.)
15. Dinosaurs interact with environment and each other (eating, playing, battling.)

If all of these could be added to it, this would surely be the best app in the appstore!

Fantastic game! I did not play this on the PC so many years ago like some others, but I still like it. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE PLAYED THE EARLIER VERSIONS TO ENJOYS THIS GAME. If that's stopping you from buying it, don't let it.
Ok. To improve the game:

-Add JUMP, or some way to get over stepper terrain. It's really frustrating not being able to cross barriers that are only 1 or 2 feet tall. -Wait- I just read that jumping is coming with an update.
-Give the player more starting credits. It's hard to start the game with only fifty
-If you're going to say that the dinosaurs have "incredibly advanced AI," at least give it to them. This "advanced AI" is basically that each dinosaur has a set perimeter, and if you come inside they will either attack you or run away, depending on the type.
-Add little things that make the environment seem more alive such as... well, I don't know... but do it anyway.
-Add local leaderboards. I shouldn't have to remember my highscore.
-Place more unique things/places in each map. I sometimes feel like I'm walking on randomly generated terrain. Maybe add blinds on some of the maps.
-Allow us to go prone or at least crouch. I know this wouldn't change it beacuase of how "incredibly smart" the AI are, but it would at least make the game feel a little more... complete.
-Add multiplayer of some sort. Maybe co-op hunting or something like that.
-Make the player move a little faster. It doesn't have to be too much more, but give us some way to move around the map faster. Maybe teleport or something, like airlift, would work too.
-You don't really notice while you're playing, but the textures could use some serious work, at least for 3gS.

Great game, really! Just get on the updating.

4c. Character
Since this game is set in a futuristic era i think being able to play as an alien woild be awesome!
4d. Sprint and health
It would be cool if you could sprint such as double tapping the sreen while running would make you run however you can only sprint for a certian distance and than your stamina has to recharge and it would be better if you had a health bar instead of being instantly killed
4e. Multiplayer
Multiplayer co-op hunt would be awesome! And if there was one camp or town in each multiplayer map where you could replenish your health stamina and ammo that would be cool
5. New land dinos and animals.
Howabout new land dinosaurs that you can hunt such as:
Appotosaur
Dimetrodon(i know its already there but i want to hunt it)
Lion
Bear
Troadon
Etc
6. Air dinos
I would like to see an air dinosaur thats hurts you and air dinosaurs that you can hunt
7. New map idea
This is just a suggestion but a cave map would be. Extremely exciting to players.

This in-depth, non-linear gaming experience is a must have for any hunting fan. It is easily worth 3 bucks, maybe more. But, unfortunately, with all great games come great gaps. First of all, in the game description on the app store it clearly states that the game includes 16 dinosaurs- what happened?And secondly, the game needs a lot more. Sure, it's wonderfully crafted, but it's missing a lot. Here are some things to improve gameplay-
-You can never have enough weapons! Grenades maybe, or an AK would be sure to please fans. Or maybe bombs you can plant/detonate via remote?
-Perhaps snares or tripwires to make killing dinosaurs easier?
-A zoo where you can view the dinosaurs you tranquilized where you can feed them and watch them would be epic.
-There should be some unique kill scenes rathere than the mouthflail and ground intestines munch- they get old fast.
-Vehicles for easier transport and/or escaping predators.
-Being able to board the ship that picks up the dinosaurs you kill.
-New dinosaurs! Some suggestions include- Diliphasaurus, Lieupleurodon, Mamenchisaurus, and Baryonx. Those would keep us gamers busy for a while.
-Scuba gear/mountain climbing equipment?
-Killable air and water dinosaurs- Deinosuchus, Plesiosaurus, Quetzelcoatlus, and dinosaurs of the sort.
-Dinosaur eggs and babies?
-INTERACTION! If there's one thing that irks me about this game, it's the fact that carnivores and herbivores just stroll by each other without a care in the world! Maybe even an arena where you can pit dinosaurs against each other and watch them fight to the death! That would be BEAST!
So, in conclusion, it's a unique app thats worth the cash- but it's missing a lot. It sure has a lot of potential, Tatem, so keep at it! (It feels so great to contribute to the community!)

So I just want to say that I’ve been playing this game for years and it’s a classic. I just have a few things that I want to note and a few suggestions to make the game even better:

The first thing I want to talk about are the graphics and a glitch I’ve noticed in the game. The graphics could maybe be updated just a bit but that’s not a huge issue. Now there is a glitch I wanted to talk about though. This is the fact that Trex and other dinosaurs can phase through the “dinosaur wall” and other structures. You should consider fixing this so that the only way the dinosaur can get in is through the opening because it’s kind of dumb that a dinosaur can just walk straight through a building and eat you.

Now for some suggestions. One of these has to do with Ravaren’s Bridge. I think that it would be cool to make it so you could go up on the bridge and allow some smaller dinosaurs like velociraptor or troodon to go up it as well. I think this would create a really interesting scenario and would make the map more interesting to play. Speaking of various structures, I think there should be one on every map. This would allow more diversity to the islands and jungles.

The last thing I wanted to mention has to do with one of the dinosaurs. I just recently put the game back on my phone and noticed it got updated. I was fine with changing the looks of some of the dinosaurs except for one: Carnotaurus. I was very disappointed when I saw that carnotaurus had changed from a large, bright-red menace to a dull, wimpy looking dinosaur. I hope you will change this back because I really liked the look of carnotaurus before.

That’s about all I have to say and I hope you will see this review and consider some of the suggestions I brought forth. Other than that I just have to say that this game is a classic and will continue to play it!

This is a great game but I think u could add more dinosaurs and should also add water reptiles like Liopleurodon also u should accurately size the dinosaurs Allosaurus in real life was BIGGER that Ceratosaurus and also resize the Spinosaurus and Tyrannosaurus Rex because Spinosaurus was 17 meters long in real life while in real life Tyrannosaurus Rex was 12.5 meters long you should also fix the frill and horns on the Chasmosaurus because it looks like a Triceratops u should add more horned dinosaurs like Einiosaurus Pachyrhinosaurus and Styracosaurus and u should also add Daspletosaurus and also I don't think u should make some dinosaurs like Stegosaurus and Ankylosaurus run from u they were two heavily armored dinosaurs and should swing their tails if you get to close and also make dinosaurs like Parasaurolophus travel in herds because they did in real life and you should also make meat eating dinosaurs hunt the plant eating dinosaurs also add triceratops and I would also like to see Mapusaurus and Majungasaurus added to the game and I would like to see dienosuchus added because it was the biggest crocodile that ever lived also now that I think of it add Protoceratops and also u should add Cryolophosaurus Gorgosaurus Alectrosaurus Dilophosaurus Charcarodontosaurus Pyroraptor Iguanodon Edmontosaurus Plateosaurus Argentinosaurus Diplodicus Alamosaurus Gigonuantosaurus Rugops Oranosaurus Leptoceratops Camptosaurus Miragaia and Ceolophesis another thing you should be able to hunt Brachiosaurus also add multiplayer my cousin and i are fans of the game and we want to play together another thing make Spinosaurus spend most of its time near water because in real life scientists tested a fossil of it and it proved Spinosaurus spent most of its time in water one last thing make Utahraptor slighty smaller and add feathers to the raptors because in real life raptors had feathers besides all the stuff I said I love this game and am happy with the newest update recommend buying it

Nobody uses flamethrowers or RPGs or grenades for hunting. If you are going to add more weapons, maybe add a dartgun, a silenced pistol, or a submachinegun. This is hunting, not war. The game would be easy if I could just blow up a T-Rex

I think this game could be even better with Bluetooth co-op mode and online multiplayer. For multiplayer, maybe you can have two teams of hunters that compete to get the most points. Maybe you can also allow the players to kill each other. Maybe you can also put dangerous creatures in the large bodies of water to discourage swimming far out and to make the game more realistic. Also, please add more dinosaur species! A more diverse ecosystem would make this game so much more realistic! It would also shoot up the ratings!

Add climbing gear, as climbing mountains is a big part of this game

Scuba gear and a speargun as a weapon would be a great addition.

Customize your hunter

Should be able to shoot things that go underwater.

More poses for trophies

More weapons would be cool, as long as they don't, make the game too easy, same applies with the vehicles.

Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed this game. There was a lot of heart and effort put into this game, especially in making the courses. However, this game could be even more awesome with the updates myself and others are suggesting. Please update!

Thanks to all of you who managed to read down to this part. Tatem - if you update this game, it might even get on the Top 25. Then you would have a good reason to raise the price, as right now I wouldn't buy it for more than 3 bucks. This game is great as it is but it has so much more potential!

I think you should make the dinosaurs able to attack or interact with each other and make everything except the first Dino able to kill you i mean really do you know how dangerous stegosaurus,ankylosaurus,and the dome headed thing would really be!Also i really want the camera from the ice age and multiplayer also allosaurus was much larger than that,spinosaurus was bigger than the rex also sea reptiles and Dino nests i mean really where do the babies come from,Jurassic Park? I also think that velociraptors should hunt in packs and add a jeep that you can ride in or at least a hanglider. Also here are some new features:

•Real spinosaurus
•tall grass (velociraptors hunt in tall grass) •new places like: Nebular ravine a maze of tall grass and thick jungles one of the most challenging features is the large area of velociraptor nests near the tall grass.

DHF(dino holding facility) a large area with research facilities scattered around the island.swamps and grasslands border this area making it safe for newer hunters. The catch is that the dinosaurs are extra aggressive on this island.

Argentenos island a huge island that is covered with the remains of various dinosaurs because of the large abundance of carnivores in the area.It is named for the Argentenosaurus skeleton in the center.

Lake Delore a giant lake with only a few small islands sprinkled about this is the only area available for underwater hunting and yes that means plesiosaurs pliosaurs and mosasaurs you can be armed with a harpoon launcher a scuba tank (infinite air) a net gun to buy you some time and a propeller strapped to your back so you can go fast.

Devils peak a large area consisting of jungles, talk grass, plains and wetlands named because of the skull shaped mountain where the larger dinosaurs nest and mate.

If you add all of these features or at least some new areas and dinosaurs i will be super happy thx.

WHY THERE CAN'T BE multi player

There can't be multiplayer because the games engine was not built to support it and it wasn't built into the game back when it first came out...In case u didn't realize this is the pc version with new dinosaurs and much better work imported to the I device...So the game can't support multiplayer

OH YES I ALMOST FORGOT that there can't be multiplayer because when a Dino kills you it eats u so the other player could just unload while it was eating then it would have to die but that again...is not in the games format...So yes there CANT be multiplayer!

I know what your thinking...Well they added more land dinosaurs why can't they add water ones? Sorry not that simple...As I have said before it's not in the games format...There was only meant to be land dinosaurs so tatem can take their programing and make new ones from the old game...However there never were any sea creatures in the original carnivores...Well now your thinking...Why don't they just take a land animals programming and put them in the water... Thus would probably lead to the sea animal floating into land and flying around since there is no border as to where land animals can travel...

(A) this is an iPod, not an Xbox with 120 GB to support a skyrim sized game.

(B) it may have dinosaurs but it's still a HUNTING game where u have to use your wind direction and stuff, so stop asking for a chopper so u can fly in and blow dinosaurs into 1000 pieces

BTW I LOVE THE IDEA OF SEA ANIMALS SO I THINK U GUYS SHOULD MAKE A NEW PAID GAME CALLED

CARNIVORES: Atlantic terror or something catchy so that u would be able to hunt sea monsters wearing scuba gear instead of adding so much to this single game and overwhelming it with content.

I have been playing this game for half my life and I love this game but I have a question and some things, can you guys add some Gernades and a trap that we can place and they get caught in it and. Add a bear trap and new guns like like an ak47 and harpoons for the water Dino’s machine gun for the new and improved stronger dinosaurs and some new Dinosaurs like therozinosaurus and these type are omnivores when they kill you
They stab you with there claws and they throw you up in the air and pls add a saurapod they come in groups and have tails that act like whips and when u get hit by them u get flung up in the air and add bugs like huge scorpions and more improved and more plants add a bear there called short faced bears and they are the size of stegosaurus and when they kill you u get bitten by them and pls add Dino’s like water dinosaurs called megalodons when they kill u in the water they bite you and jump out of the water and a other water Dino like a giant tadpole that are harmless and add a huge tadpole with a shark head they can walk out of the water to and sunbath they have a tail of a tadpole and legs and a head of a shark and when they kill u they bite You in have and swallow our other half of out body and swim away pls add huge fishes they are harmless and they pull you under water if in water for to long and pls add a Dino with no fins but they swim under water and have no teeth but they can chew u and and more flying dinosaurs like for the flying dinos u should add archaeopteryx they swarm you and they bite you slowly and a Quetzalcoatlus they are so huge they are the size of a giraffe and when they kill you they can stab the middle of you and walk away or fly away but anyways enough with my silly stuff but please add more Dino’s and flying Dino’s and ocean Dino’s , I feel like you guys did a good job at the graphics but add a bit more to the deaths and Dino deaths, I also feel like I’m being bothered by the way trex is short and the Gigantorapter is bigger, and please add more long neck Dino’s and long neck swimming Dino’s and any Dino’s you think will fit the game like the Dino’s I said to add if you can , I also suggest that you add more maps and make the maps bigger and also I request some new guns and weapons ,maps and swamps and etc..

I hope you guys see this and make it happen.

This game is well worth the money. PROS: Every level is huge. It will take a good 15 to 20 minutes to walk around the entire level. The last level that you can unlock is a masterpeice. I hope that the developers get some type of recognition for it. The dinosaur designs are very well done and clearly inspired by Jurassic Park. The proportions are off but the T-Rex is still a bad mother... A recent update added blood trails when you shot a dinosaur, nice touch. The weapons are well balanced and the controls are spot-on. Survival is a challenging arcade mode where you can really develope your shooting skills for the hunt. CONS: How the dinosaurs react to the terrain needs improvement. The T-Rex will climb huge cliffs or if the cliff is too steep, it will just run back and forth waiting for you to shot it (you will get easy kills for the baddest dinosaur). You never get a real sense that you are hunting the dinosaurs. Rarely will you stalk a dinosaur (when you do, it is for a short amount of time) and get the drop on it. It is more like walking around until you see one or it detects you. You can only shot while in aim mode. So when the st hits the fan and a dino is charging, all you can do is stop and aim. SUGGESTIONS: The ability to fire while moving would be great. The wind changes directions too rapidly, it would be nice to actullay flank a dinosaur without being detected. Switch the placement of the binoculars and the call button because it is more critical to switch from binocular to weapon while on the move. Clean up the HUD. The Ipod screen is small enough. There is no need for the gray areas around the buttons and the big yellow lines around the joystick, smaller ones would suffice. The Dino's AI should also recognize when it is losing the battle and trigger it to run away. This would solve the clueless T-Rex running aroud at the bottom of the cliff. Also it would help the development of your hunt, not everytime you are spotted will there be a fight to the death. There are specifc spots in each level that are unique but the dinosaurs never go there. I might be asking for too much here, but dino footprints would add to the hunting experience.

If there seems to be more cons than pros, its becuase I want a great game to become a classic. The game is the best game I have played on the Ipod and you should buy it now (discount or no discount).

Awsome game and very cool graphics, however, Add a game preserve that you can stock with tranquilized dinos. You should be able to add trees and rocks and affect elevation and whatnot. Then, have both computer controlled and/or friends visit to hunt the dinos for one credit a hunt or such.then use to upgrade preserve or hunt.

Map ideas- great caverns, use a headlamp to hunt in a massive underground cave system. Blazing dunes, don sand camo as you hunt in a barren desert. Forgotten lab- hunt in an abandoned laboratory overrun with dinosaurs. Jurrasic park- triple sized island with all dinos available to hunt and every terrain and hazard imaginable. Lonely Plato- high above the clouds, movement is restricted by a heavy oxygen tank as you hunt the kings of the sky. Grassy plain- cruise along an enormous island as you bring down sauropods on a jeep with your roof mounted machine gun. The reef- strap on scuba feet as you explore the reef.

Also make some dinos available to hunt only in certain islands

First off I would like to say I LOVE this game! Number 1 played app on my iPad! Several suggestions to make the game even BETTER.

1. More dinos! Make some underwater ones and some flying ones. Also make a 2000 point Liopleurodon which gives you ALOT of points since it is pretty much invincible.
2. More locations! Maybe make an open plain with little cover.
3. More weapons! A normal crossbow would be nice.
4. Make a new look for the standerd shotgun and/or rifle. They look the same.
5. Make it so u can cuztomize your control layout.
6. Make a tracking system so dinos leave footprints. This would allow experianced players to track and identify dinos by thier footprints. Only make footprints appear in grass, dirt, and sand, not rock. Also when tracking is on you get a 20% increase in points earned, but only if you had radar turned off so players dont turn it on and just use radar and not tracking.
7. Make an option to clear trophy room.
8. Make it so carnivores eat dinos smaller then them. Only the non-scoring ones so you dont lose points by the decreasing number of scoring dinos.
9. Multiplayer! Make a co-op mode so up to 4 players can hunt dinos together, spliting the total points earned between the players. (Maybe make a 10% decrease in points earned since you had help.) Also make a versus mode, see who can get the most points in a set time limit.
10. Make herbivores eat plants.
11. Make weather. Player can choose sunny, rainy, or stormy. Rain would obscure tracks (suggestion 6) and blood trails. Storms would have lightning which would start fires, scaring herbivores and small carnivores, also killing the player if they got too close. The fire would be put out by the rain in about 30 seconds. Also on both rainy and stormy the clouds would obscure view, making it harder to see.
12. Make it so you can see further before it whites out. But not too far otherwise it would create lag.
13. Make a jeep so you can get around faster. The player can still be killed while in a jeep.
14. (Thanks to ChuckTheToastEatingDragon) Make traps. Like a tripline or snare. You could set them up and check them later. The dinos could be caught, and then escape (make bigger dinos escape faster), however they will be wounded, allowing for easy tracking.
15. Make a grappling hook for climbing mountains. Point cost (it would be included with weapons, since you can use it to impale small dinos at close range) would be 100.

If you implement these, even a few, this will be the greatest app on the app store!

First off: Love the reskin you guys did for the game recently. It makes those animals fit in better with the original feel of the game, which I appreciate since this is the only version I’ve gotten to play. And I also love that you added another Easter egg! Adding the hidden lake was fine too, though I remember stumbling upon that swamp for the first time. It was a bit confusing.

However, I’ve always wondered: why can’t we climb buildings in these games? Because you could in the original and I figured since this is a port, it’d be exactly like that. Sure, some man-made walls like in the observatory in Delpheaus Hills let you get on them, but not the bunker next to it or its stone arches. Or the huts in Fort Ciskin. Or the rock ceilings of a cave in Vengar Fjords and in Manya Jungle. Also that stone bridge at the very north of Manya Jungle as well. There’s no interaction there, we just fall through.

And I’d like to actually USE a real bridge! (just thought of something: you’re hunting raptors on Ravaren’s Bridge and because it’s a small creature, the angry raptor can jump up said bridge the way you came to attack you and you have to take it down as you cross the bridge! Same thing goes for the Yeti in ice age, if animals and humans can cross the bridge on Dry Nodus Lake, it makes it a bit more challenging instead of having that canyon of sea water between you.)

We just clip through anything that’s not a mountain. I can’t even climb up on a rock to get a better shot and I have to aim through it. Really, that’s my biggest complaint. I can’t get on top of something so simple, meanwhile a mint-condition Dinosaur Wall in the Manya Jungle can’t protect me at all from the fury of a charging T. Rex. (Very ironic considering the Fort Ciskin description. But I think that happened in the original too so, it isn’t your doing.)

But besides this complaint, I don’t have any other problems with the game. I really do love it and play it constantly. And if you guys plan on adding more stuff, my suggestion would be: a Dilophosaurus to add another small/medium sized carnivore. And another map like The Ancient Temple or The Pyramids of Shmu-Hadron would be great. After all, one of the best things about this game is still its lore. Imagine the surprise many people would get entering the temple for the first time and hearing the haunting voice because they’ve never played the original game. All we see in the mobile port is what remains from the colonization efforts. There’s nothing from before that, and I think that should change.

Dinosaurs:
Parasaurolophus:
A great beginner dinosaur. Won't attack, but will run at high speeds if attacked. Doesn't have enough armor to resist many shots from a gun. Medium target.
Ankylosaurs:
Tricky to shoot at, but can't run at high speeds and won't attack you. Armor protects against a few gun shots. Small target.
Stegosaurus:
It's main advantage is resistance to gun shots. Takes quite a few gun shots to bring down, but it's massiveness slows this living tank to a speed that you can follow for multiple shots of any gun. Won't attack, but just the sight of you causes this dinosaur to run like a baby. Large target.
Pachycephallosaurus:
An easy dinosaur to hunt. Takes usually only one shot to kill, depending on the gun you're using. Can run at high speeds, but might get confused of where you are and might come back and allow you an easy kill. Won't attack. Medium target.
Allosaurus:
Probably the easiest carnivore to hunt. Will attack and run at high speeds in a serpentine attack, then will typically pounce on you, which is an instant kill if it reaches you, so never look away from this persistent killer. Fortunately, this dinosaur's lack of armor causes it to die after very few gun shots. Small target.
Chasmosaurus:
Let's make this one simple. Will attack if wounded, decent speed, decent health. Medium target.
Velociraptor:
This is a vicious predator that is much like Allosaurus. It runs at high speeds in a serpentine manner, doesn't take much to kill, due to lack of armor, pounces up on it's prey, usually. The only difference is that it's a bit more aggressive and is an... EXTRA small target.
Spinosaurus:
Probably one of the largest carnivores that will pounce up on it's prey. Takes a few gun shots to kill, but it's spine on it's back is an easy way to identify this feared hunter. Can run at high speeds. Medium target.
Ceratosaurus:
My favorite dinosaur. This horned giant roams around looking for anything it can eat. It is a carnivore, so be on the lookout if you're hunting this killer. It can run at very high speeds and it's tough skin requires many gun shots to penetrate. (Hint: Doesn't corner well) Large target.
Tyrannosaurus Rex:
Probably the most feared dinosaur of all. Can run at SUPER high speeds, so running isn't an option. It's also very aggressive and can ONLY BE KILLED IF SHOT IN THE EYE. (Hint: After seeing you, this dinosaur will raise or lower it's head and sniff the air. If you're in it's sights after that, this dinosaur will roar loudly. If you're still in front of this dinosaur, it will charge straight at you. If you get to that point, you probably stand no chance and this carnivore will pick you up in it's mouth, swing you around and occasionally slam you on the ground. The key is to shoot T Rex in the eye while it's sniffing the air or roaring. This will instantly kill the monster, making you a champion!) EXTRA large target.

Alright so I know Carnivores was already an extremely old game and this is a lot to ask for but could you do one last significant update for the game or even try to make one last Carnivores game as a whole? The nostalgia is to pure however the games software is so old most likely being a nightmare to make largely significant updates. Making a new game with the same (somewhat) retrofits aesthetics is what the community would want not some ultra realistic RPG horror thrown out and stuff could definitely be learned from 2015s progress.

Note: I would think the game should end up as a finished product on release which I entirely agree with however weekly significant bug fixes and community events should still be included. a couple updates that introduce small quantities of completely new and unique content to keep the community busy within a what would already be absolutely gigantic game would also be a nice touch every once and a while.

||note: graphics wise I would say the lighting and 3D rendering of the models could be scaled to a amazing level of significance the textures of the graphics unlike the 2015 HD remake should keep the classic aesthetic of the original 2 games. not just for nostalgia but to make the product itself completely unique plus it would save time for moving quicker on the games development without rushing.

If you go with the ideas I have provided though having your own changes for your view of an improved concept I would not recommend rushing on a update like this and taking time even if it takes a couple years for one last perfect game in the franchise. If you just read this and decide the expectations are to high that is ok and I would at least be happy you would of read this at all however I hope this spreads a small bit of inspiration into your community of developers even if it is only a split spark the appreciation would be omnipotent.

I think the update is this week or next week! Look u people who think That Trex was bigger r wrong. Spinosaurus weighed 6-9 tons and it was 18 feet tall! It grew from 33 feet long to 60 feet long. It even had the largest skull of any predator 7 feet long! Tatem can u please fix this?

•DRF- Dinosaur research factuality overrun by carnivores. A medium sized island with multiple fast flowing streams and rivers. In the center of the island is the DRF. Don't get lost in it's maze like hallways.

•Arctins' Glaciers- An arctic island with a crashed ship that belonged to Captain Arctin himself in the South Eastern Glacier. Near the center of the island is a strong Electro magnetic pulse (EMP) that causes all electronics to be useless.

•Ancient Boneyard- An average sized dark island covered in corpses. It is thought that the dinosaurs are more aggressive for possible territories. One of our hover crafts has crash landed in the North East.

•Foxtrot Plains- this relatively flat area was part of The Manya Jungle millions of years ago. With multiple tall grasses this area supports little cover for the hunter and the prey. The strangest part about the plains is the crashed air plain near the Southern ocean. The most dangerous section is near the center of the island where all the large carnivores mate and nest.

•Ouranus Mountain range- this hard to navigate mountain covered island used to hold a large ancient civilization. The tallest mountain "Mt. Virlandia" has what appears to be an ancient pteradactylous viewing deck. Great for hunting air-borne creatures.

•Vengar Jungle- an exotic location connected to Vengar Fjords that includes a very thick rain forest, a gigantic waterfall, exotic creatures, and many secrets. Because of dark clouds and heavy rainfall your field of vision is dangerously low.

•Arianid Catacombs- a mysterious island with an impressive cavern of catacombs. In the South West lies an enormous crater from an ancient comet. In the catacombs lies a Mapusaurus skeleton and lots and lots of jewels and diamonds.

•Senakee Wasteland-a barren desert with bone-dry watering holes. Although water is rare there is a deep cave in the north east with a large lake in it. Cliffs, mountains, and valleys are some of the main obstacles you will face.

•Renokate Valley-a large Beautiful green valley takes up a large amount of space going through the West. Inside most of the valley is a large river that takes you to an old satellite outpost. Tough terrain for land based vehicles.

•Steiranian Reef- One of the most Exotic locations on the tour supplies extremely little land. You need air tanks and masks to survive down their. Avoid the coral reef. The Reeves may poison you and their are many predators in that area. Their are Many Underwater caves to explore.

•Corpse Island rough terrain that's very challenging for vehicles to pass by. Numerous craters leaking toxic gasses have been reported to be extremely deadly and cost many creatures their lives their-by the name.

•Bamashee Rocks-A large array of is lands all surround a mysterious dinosaur-temple. On one large island lies an ancient village surrounding a dormant
volcano.

•Vulcan Canyon- by far this island is the most deadly. The canyon takes up most of the space. This islands' deadliest feature is definitely the "Lava River".

1. There should be like a sprint button because you go way to slow. It takes forever to go 20 feet ahead of you.
2. What's up with the whole points thing? I get like 100 and then get the good guns then I go out and die somehow and all my points are gone and i can't get the good guns. So then I gotta go back and do the first level each time to get them back and it gets annoying.
3. Please fix the crashing.

It's k but game is way too short, bought it today and i've captured/hunted every type of dinos.

Update needed

1. More weapons, would be nice to have a semi-automatic weapon
2. The map is way too big and it's impossible to escape a trex or any other Carnivors, it'd be nice to have transportation like a jeep or even a dirt bike w/e gets the job done
3. Needs more dinosaurs to kill for points
4. It'd be nice if you could kill the dinos in the trophy room such as the end of modern warfare 2.
5. A option to also change how ur character looks would also be nice

I wrote a review for carnivores ice age and same thing here get some updates if you actually care about your customers I'm tired of it. I'm now telling people not to get the game and I'm not buying any of the games you guys are making tell you get updates, make another carnivores game or ad water creatures I now its hard to make updates but this is ridiculous get updates the last one you made was a bug fix there was only one in the past 4 years that wasn't a bug fix it was taking something away from us that was fun which was the bridge in the raven bridge map.

This game is still fun... For about one second at a time. It's been at least a year since you guys last updated this. The only thing I ever do is hunt the t-rexes. Except I made up what I call, quick shot, so all I do is relocate right on top of a dot on the map, then when I relocate I have a split second to shoot the t- Rex in the eye when it's standing right next to me. Even this is now to easy. So please, give your loyal fans who are still giving this game a 5 star rating even though they are mad, an update.Thanks, oh and can you add water dinos please, please!?!?

It's a sweet game, my favorite in fact. The selection of dinosaurs needs tuning up. Instead of calling the three horns something no one has heard of, they should call them triceratops (also make them bigger, for the low risk it should be mauling size). I love the selection otherwise. The biggest problem is the crashes. I play it, go hunting, bag a few, maybe get eaten, then I leave right? I press done, and instead of taking me to main page, it crashes. It happens every time. Luckily everything done in the hunt is fine (not achievements). I'm sick of having to boot it up! Please fix, cause this game rules otherwise!

What happened with this new update? I've always been a huge Carnivores fan, regardless of the bad graphics and lag, but this update is awful! I tried to revive and was bombarded with ads so much I couldn't even play! Also, I started walking, and then stopped, and the joystick was stuck and I kept walking. And good grief, nobody wants new dinos nearly as much as they want a playable game. If you hide in a building and a large Dino charges at you, it lags through the building and kills you. T-Rexes walk through trees and carnivores you don't even want to hunt assassinate the player CONSTANTLY! I love this game, but FIX IT!

In the rush to try to promote their new game (which seems to be EXACTLY the same just with different animals), they broke this one. Now when I try to play, there are one or more banners in the middle of the screen promoting the other game, and they completely block the action. You can't close these banners or get rid of them, and every time that you try, it quits the game and takes you to iTunes to buy the other app. This is profoundly annoying and inexcusably stupid! I used to really like this game and was looking forward to what else this company had to put out. But now, they just seem like a bunch of amateurs. Congratulations, from five stars to one in a single move... that's gotta be a new record.

Talk about lazy developers... I bought this on my pc back in the early 00's and thought it was very cool though it did have many flaws (iffy controls, long drawn out boring hunts, lame graphics). I was excited to see it on the iPad and expected it to be updated with tight graphics and new features. Instead it is the exact same game - same cruddy controls (You run sideways instead of turning and running forward?!) rudimentary graphics, options and even sound effects. The only thing that saved it on my pc was I could use key strokes to make me fly, run or have super power. I dunno if that is possible on an iPad. I paid 4.99. Shoulda been .99 at most. Too bad cuz it is a cool concept but poor execution.

i love the other game you made, carnivores ice age, but this game just didn’t live up to how good carnivores ice age was. first of all the dinosaurs and there animations are not nearly as good as ice age, and could you at least resurch the dinosaurs before adding them because, just to mention one, anklsaurs were huge slow moving dinosaurs with a tone of armor but, you made them tiny little dinosaurs that move super fast. i have to admit you did do a great job on the celoficis witch i definitely just spelled wrong. please just add the effort you added for ice age because, when i realized there was a nother app by the same creators as ice age i got so excited but then, i was disappointed and finished the game in about 5 hours.

I realize that this is a port of the PC version of the game and that the game is fairly dated but the Facebook part of it doesn't work! If you try to share your trophies on Facebook, it asks you to sign in but you can't. When you tap the E-mail or Password bars, the keyboard doesn't come up! This would be the perfect hunting app for me if the Facebook sharing feature worked, but until it gets this bug fixed, 2 stars it is.

Also: To the people who are asking for updates and additional features to be added to the game; GIVE UP! This game was not made by these people, all they did was port its controls to be emulated by touch, so quit asking for additional features or "multiplayer". You people have no idea how much work that would take.

This is a cool app, at first. Then you realize how terrible the game mechanics are. It is impossible to jump to climb terrain. The AI for the dinosaurs is not that good. They just run around randomly and then if you get remotely close to them, even with all the perks, they will run from you or if they are a carnivore they will always no exactly where u are. Then they eat you in 2 seconds. The dinosaurs would need absolute flat terrain to look like they can run. What is with those hover craft. They can appear out of no where and lift a multi ton Dino, but they can't give me some air support when I'm being chased by a T Rex or even multiple resupplies. The coolest thing about the game is shooting down the Dino birds, which dont even give points. This game is so frustrating and so stupid.

Guys I bought the game when it came out. I have reviewed this game and added suggestions many many times. THEY HAVE NOT UPDATED IN A YEAR! It is a good game but it gets old killing T-rex after T-rex after T-rex. Tatem doesn't care about carnivores anymore they made their money. Don't bother asking for crashing fixes or game improvements. We all want more dinos, more guns, multiplayer, transportation, and more maps yet I am sorry to say after playing the game over a year I don't think improvements will be made on a game that had such an extremly high potential. The makers simply don't care as long as a few people are paying for their game. They don't understand that they could triple their profit just by adding a few simple improvements. Tatem I am starting to get dissapointed. :(

You can't kill the Brachiosaurus no matter what. Lame! Dinosaurs are NOT solid meaning you can just walk through them. Lame! Carnivores only attack you and not any other dinosaurs. Lame! Not a lot of weapons even though this is like some sort futuristic hunting game. Lame! Not a lot of dinosaurs to hunt down, only like around 10. Lame! You can finally jump... a big 3 feet. Lame! There basically is no life besides plants underwater, no dinosaurs or fish live in the water back then I guess(oh wait, they did) Lame! You can't hunt down the flying dinosaurs for points. Lame! The list goes on and on but I'm tired of writing so I'm a sign off saying this is a big waste of 2 bucks! The only reason most people rate this game 5 stars is because they played back then on there pc or whatever, but who cares about them losers? Anyways I would give it 0 stars but I can't, it wont let me. Soooo 1 star. Don't buy!

Well I'd really give 2.5 stars cause it would really be cool if there would be new dinosaurs or some new weapons,I had this game for pc and to tell you the truth it is better a little but it's boring seeing the same dinosaurs that was made like 6 years ago in the original carnivores 2 and 1 cause really it's boring no camo, no hole or tent to hide in or a tree watch nothing. Plus that u always spawn near the freaking dinosaur and end up being killed right there and then,, the good thing is the guy walks a little faster then pc cause like if u being chase on pc your litilary walking away from the Dino not running like for real.. it would mean a lot to a lot of people to add something new like a new dinosaur in the water or something or a terodactol or a flying dinosaur to hunt. Played this game every day but now I can’t change my weapon. I will often get stuck in camera mode and not be able to play. Was really happy about the new update but it’s basically unplayable now.

Also, the score is cut off on iphone X

I’ve been playing the game for years and I’ve never had any major issues with it. But in the last update, the game works for a bit and I can play normally. But after a min or so it’s like the game kinda lags? Idk how to describe it exactly. I have to restart the app to get it to run normally again. But again it does the same thing. I love to play the game but this problem is just making it to where I can’t.
